It's so important to let children explore their curiosity. Being curious and asking questions is how most kids learn.
And kids who haven't been exposed to different religions are naturally curious and need to ask questions. When they're shushed or ignored, their instinct to learn is squashed.
Also, be prepared to field questions at potentially embarrassing moments. As we all know, kids are unpredictable and often ask embarrassing questions in public.
âElementary age kids,â says Connie Green, professor of childrenâs literature at Appalachian State University, âare naturally little theologians. Theyâre always asking questions, like âWhy are we here? Why is the sky up there? What does it mean to be kind to other people?ââ9
